Steps for installation

  • The window well is secured and leveled to the foundation wall

  • The space between the window well and the foundation wall is sealed with polyurethane caulking sealant

  • The drain in the window is connected to either exterior or interior drain tile for proper drainage. If clogged, the steps to handle it are as follows:

    • Drill a 2-inch hole through the foundation wall

    • Install a 2-inch pipe sloping to the top of the sump pit with a cleanout

    • Install a 4-inch drain assembly in the window well

    • Seal around the pipe with injection epoxy
