Repairing a Leaking Pipe Penetration and Intrusion

It's common to experience water seeping and leaking around pipe penetrations, such as gas, water, sewer, and electrical lines. To install these pipes, builders usually core a hole through the foundation wall and then patch the void between the pipe and the concrete with a temporary patch from both the interior and exterior. When concrete is used without proper waterproofing, it can lead to leakage and seepage around pipes. Over time and in harsh weather conditions, this issue will require repair. We recommend sealing the penetration from the interior using our injection epoxy, which is the same process used for interior foundation wall crack repair. If there is no availability for interior repair, the problem may also be corrected from the exterior by using a waterproofing membrane.

How to Repair Leak and Sepage Around the Pipes

Typically, we recommend sealing the penetration from the interior by using our injection epoxy, which is the same process used for foundation wall cracks.

  • The current patch around the pipe is removed

  • Injection ports are installed across

  • A new patch was applied, sealed with injection epoxy
